The poly actually gives a great undercoat for a new nitro job. It's still not going to be a crazy cheap job bit fyi if probably price it at around £3-400 rather than £750-800 for trying to remove the thick poly safely. I've got a Korean epi Riviera from 95 which is a downright incredible guitar and definitely a keeper.

Back in 2004, Paul McCartney teamed up with Gibson for the creation of a signature edition replica of his 1964 Epiphone Texan acoustic guitar, the instrument he immortalized. The IBJL (“Inspired By” John Lennon) Casino actually has a neck very much like my ES-330; a nice rounded old-style Gibson shape, very comfy. It features USA-made Gibson P-90s, laminated maple/ birch body with laminated maple top. The neck is mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard (1.62" at the nut), and the standard 24.75" scale length.

I’m confused about which bridge to get. I have a API Nashville from a Gibson guitar laying around that I was hoping to use, but the posts are to big for that bridge.

Casinos are some of my favorite guitars to work on, and P-90's are just about my favorite sounding pup's. They do tend to feed back at high stage volume, so a Sheraton (or my current favorite, the Nick Valensi Riviera) might be a better bet. But for recording, or low volume work (jazz trio, lounge gig, etc.) the Casino works great.
